Inspiring: Meet the Blind Man Who Sells Phone Cords & Chargers Instead of Begging
Unlike his peers, visually impaired Lawan, has chosen to be industrious rather walk around from street-to-road begging alms.
Lawan is pictured hawking various phone cords and chargers around Jos Trade Fair Ground.
He calls himself 'Lawan Charger' and he lives in Jos, Plateau state. He has been selling chargers for 7 years using the aid of his son to walk around and to know the denomination of money given to him by customers - so that he doesn't get cheated.
Lawan says he hopes to make enough money to start a shop of his own one day - because he's always been business minded rather dependent on people.
