"If I Died Today, I'd Die Happy" - what Brazilian coach said before he died in the Colombia plane crash that killed 75

Former Al Jazira and Al Shabab coach Caio Junior, is among the 75 people that died after a plane carrying players and officials of Brazilian club Chapecoense crashed in Colombia on Tuesday.


Only six of the 81 people aboard survived the crash, which occurred as the plane attempted to land in the Colombian city of Medellin.

After his team qualified for the final of Copa Sudamericana, the 51 year old coach told the press that:  'If i die today, i'd die a happy man'.

He made this statement on November 24th four days before he died.

The team were on their way to the finale of the competition when the plane crashed.
