A Brazilian psychic may have predicted the horrific plane crash involving the Chapecoense squad. A plane carrying the Brazilian football team crashed in Colombia on Monday night.
Virtually all the players and coaching staff died in the incident, which also took the life of air crew and club directors. 71 passengers died. Six survived (including three footballers, a journalist and two crew members).
Footage has now emerged on social media of psychic José Ferreira dos Santos Carlinhos, predicting the tragedy eight months ago in March 2016.
In the clip, he appears on a tv show, saying: "A whole football team will die in a plane crash. Make a note of what I'm saying, this will happen within a year and a half."
He was then asked if the team would be Brazilian but admitted he was uncertain.
The 53-year-old psychic shot to stardom in 2014 after correctly predicting World Cup results.
He correctly predicted that Brazil would lose 7-1 to Germany in the historic semi-final, and also predicted that Neymar would suffer a tournament-ending injury.
